A series of activities featuring the most popular Sanrio characters including My Melody, Kuromi, Little Twin Stars, Hello Kitty, Pom Pom Purin & Bad Badtz-Maru will be introduced from July to October 2014 in the shopping mall Langham Place which introduce a four-month-long marketing campaign called “Sanrio Star Dining”.

Leading a delicious Sanrio culinary expedition, the first initiative to be unveiled at the shopping mall will be the Hong Kong’s First My Melody & Kuromi Pop-up Café at ishiyaki+ café from 14 July to 14 September 2014.

My Melody who always tops the popularity chart of Sanrio website will team up with Kuromi to greet diners as the manager of the Pop-up Café. A 3D photo spot with Kuromi as a Barista and My Melody busy serving the customers is displayed at the entrance of the café.

Located on Level 10 of the mall’s “Spiral Zone”, ishiyaki+ café serves some healthy and delicious fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine. A simple yet relaxing dining environment with woody and forestry accented interior. You can enjoy the restaurant’s signature rice in stone pot & desserts with your friends, together with the lovely My Melody & Kuromi plush toys as your dining companions.

To celebrate the opening of the First My Melody & Kuromi Pop-up Café in Hong Kong, the food, tables and even staff uniform are amazingly re-furnished with the My Melody and Kuromi motifs and visuals. This guarantees to attract the characters’ fans and dazzle their eyes with a unique and an adorable ambience.

The Pop-up Café’s menu caters to every diner’s need, lunch, tea and dinner menus offer everything including coffee, specialty drinks, pancakes, sandwich wrap, sushi & sashimi, burgers, curry and rice in stone pot and a variety of tasty options. Fans would fall in love with the handpicked signature dishes with the tailor-made adorable face of My Melody and Kuromi.
