7-Eleven, voted by consumers as Hong Kong’s most favourite brand, today announces the collaboration with Disney to exclusively present its year-end redemption programme under the theme of “Light Parade Float”.

Presenting 30 of the most popular Disney and Pixar characters through the “Light Parade Float” redemption programme which is the first time for 7-Eleven to introduce a variety of luminescent elements into its figurines to give fans a more delightful visual experience. With each figurine riding on its own unique float for the “Light Parade”, 7-Eleven has extended Disneyland’s spectacular night-time parade to it over 900 outlets and across Hong Kong, brightening seasonal celebrations across the city.

First figurines to glow

“Light Parade Float” redemption programme will run in two phases over a three-month period starting today. For the first time, 7-Eleven is launching the redemption programme in conjunction with a theme park presentation and adding neon, luminous and LED light effects to the figurines. Set to be a highlight of this holiday season, “Light Parade Float” enables customers to re-create a world of light in the own homes.

The first phase of the programme will see the launch of 12 parade float figurines featuring neon colours on iconic elements, such as Mickey’s hat, Pluto’s rooftop, Tinkerbell’s mushroom and Buzz Lightyear’s spacesuit.

The parade float figurines released in the second phase will have luminous elements, including Cinderalla’s carousel, Lotso’s balloon, Pinocchio’s steam cloud, Woody’s car and more.

Six highly collectible “Special Festive Editions” will also be launched for three major festivals, namely Christmas, Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day. Each figurine will be installed with LED lights for sparkling light effects. Further details will be announced in due course.

Launch creative joinable display stands

To make collecting and displaying the Light Parade Float more fun, 7-Eleven will introduce a unique display stand for each of the two phases: “Main Street Station” and “Light Parade Castle”. Meticulously designed to match the Parade, customers can arrange different “Light Parade Float” cars to create their own parade. The two display stands can be joined width-wise or length-wise to extend the parade route.

Available in the first phase of the redemption programme is the “Main Street Station” UV light display stand, which features four ultraviolet streetlamps to showcase the fluorescent effect of the parade floats and project an extraordinary atmosphere. For the second phase, 7-Eleven will release the “Light Parade Castle” display stand, which includes a flashing “fireworks” background to accentuate the parade’s festive spirit.

Details of “Light Parade” redemption programme as follows:

Stamp Distribution: Stamps will be distributed at all 7-Eleven* from today to 3 March 2015. Customers will receive one stamp upon a HK$20 purchase at 7-Eleven, and one more stamp for every additional HK$10 purchase (i.e., HK$30 for 2 stamps, HK$40 for 3 stamps and so on).

Float Redemption: Redemption of the 12 “Light Parade” neon cars and the “Main Street Station” UV light display stand will be available from today at all 7-Eleven stores. Redemption of the 12 “Light Parade” luminous cars and the “Light Parade Castle” display stand will be available from 14 January 2015. Customers can redeem one figurine at random with 18 stamps for free, or with 7 stamps plus HK$20.

Special Festive Editions: In addition to the 24 cars, there are also six special festive editions, including the Christmas limited edition, Chinese New Year limited edition and Valentine’s Day limited edition. Redemption details will be announced in due course.

Purchase Hong Kong Disneyland ticket vouchers at all 7-Eleven Outlets

To offer more convenient services to the public, all 7-Eleven outlets now sell Hong Kong Disneyland ticket vouchers, including 1-day tickets and 2-day tickets. Hong Kong residents can purchase 1-day child tickets, 1-day general admission tickets, 2-day child tickets and 2-day general admission tickets at an exclusive 10% discount. Starting tomorrow till 13 January 2015, customers who purchase ticket vouchers will be entered into a lucky draw for a chance to win a 12-piece 7-Eleven “Light Parade Neon Car Collection” (10 sets available).
