How to Deal with Cradle Cap on my Baby?
Cradle cap is due to overactive sebaceous glands in the skin of newborn babies. It is not itchy and it doesn’t bother the baby.
Cradle cap is very common and natural. Mother can use cotton balls tip into natural pure olive oil and softly wipe it on your baby’s scalp in a massage manner. It will help to soften the cradle cap which will wash off easily. Do not try to scratch the scalp or rub it intensively, this will damage your baby’s scalp.
Cradle cap most commonly begins sometime in the first 3 -4 months. If you think your baby’s cradle cap is getting serious, it is advice that you bring your baby to a family doctor for further medical treatment.
