Misconception of DHA
To enhance baby brain potential does not have to rely on their parent’s quality genetic, basic education and training. Parents should start paying early attention to their child's eating habits, eating more food that is good for the brain development, which can help building a better IQ for the child. International nutrition experts say only rely on one or two nutrients is not sufficient to meet the needs of a better brain development.
A well balanced intake of nutrient:
1. Vitamin B complex - helps maintain healthy nervous system, can enhance the child's brain capacity, so think more clearly, resistance to diseases and stimulates the appetite. Food sources: wheat, beans, milk, green vegetables.
2. Vitamin C - is a natural antioxidant which can promote brain nerve cells, enhance thinking skills and children's memory. Source of food: orange, kiwi, strawberries and tomatoes.
3. Vitamin E - is a powerful antioxidant which can increase the resistance of diseases, it can protect the normal operation of the nerve cells in the brain membranes, enhance thinking. Food sources: beans, nuts, peanut butter and green vegetables.
4. Iron - transports oxygen to all parts of the body in order to maintain normal bodily functions, strengthen thinking ability, memory and concentration. Food sources: liver, fish, red meat, spinach, watercress, dried beans and dried fruit.
