Veggie and Fruit Puree

1. Sweet Corn Puree (suitable for 4-8 months old babies)

Ingredients: 2 corns

Steps:

  • Cut the corns into portions; put them into boiling water until they are cooked.
  • Remove kernels from cob. Put them into a mixer, blend to puree.

 

2. Tomato Puree (suitable for 4-8 months old babies)

Ingredients: 2 tomatoes

Steps:

  • Wash the tomatoes thoroughly. Gently cut a cross on the top.
  • Prick a knife on the top of the tomatoes; put them into boiling water until the skin starts to peel off.
  • Peel off the skin. Cut them and scoop out the seeds.
  • Mash with a wooden stick or blend to puree.

 

3. Apple Puree (suitable for 4-8 months old babies)

Ingredients: 1 apple

Steps:

  • Wash the apple thoroughly. Remove the core.
  • Put it into boiling water until the apple becomes tender.
  • Scoop out the flesh and mash with a wooden stick or blend to puree.

 

4. Carrot Puree (suitable for 4-8 months old babies)

Ingredients: 1 carrot

Steps:

  • Peel the carrot and wash it thoroughly. Dice it.
  • Put it into boiling water until it is totally cooked.
  • Mash it with a wooden stick or blend to puree, mix it with baby porridge.

 

5. Cheese and Potato Puree (suitable for 4-8 months old babies)

Ingredients: 1 potato, 1 baby cheese cube

Steps:

  • Peel the potato and wash it thoroughly. Dice it.
  • Put it into boiling water (or steam it) until it is totally cooked.
  • Mash it with a wooden stick or blend to puree, mix it with baby cheese.

 

6. Tofu and Pumpkin Puree (suitable for 4-8 months old babies)

Ingredients: 1/2 cube of tofu, 1 bowl of pumpkin

Steps:

  • Steam the tofu for 5 minutes.
  • Dice the pumpkin. Put it into boiling water until it is cooked.
  • Put the two ingredients in blender and grind to puree.
